ANOTHER

ROUND?

Design for the long table — for candles lit just because, for nights that linger and guests who return. Second Dinner creates spaces rooted in hospitality, experience, and connection.

HI THERE, I’M GLAD YOU’RE HERE. SECOND DINNER WAS BORN OUT OF A DESIRE TO CONNECT. IT STARTED WITH A SIMPLE IDEA FROM SOMEONE I LOVE:

AFTER NEARLY A DECADE DESIGNING HOSPITALITY SPACES, I’VE OBSERVED THAT ENVIRONMENT SHAPES THE WAY WE GATHER. SOMETIMES THE MOST BEAUTIFULLY DESIGNED SPACES FEEL LACKING IN CHARACTER, WHILE SOME OF THE MOST MODEST ARE FULL OF CHARM.WHY DO WE OFTEN FEEL MOST AT EASE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD HOLE IN THE WALL? BECAUSE IT FEELS HUMAN. IT’S DISARMING.

“THE PEOPLE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR YOU.”

THE SPACES WE RETURN TO DON’T ASK US TO BE ANYTHING OTHER THAN OURSELVES.

SECOND DINNER EXISTS TO CREATE SPACES THAT INVITE THAT SAME FEELING — ROOTED IN THOUGHTFUL DESIGN, SMALL GESTURES, AND THE ART OF MAKING PEOPLE FEEL WELCOME. SECOND DINNER AIMS TO PARTNER WITH OWNERS WHO CARE DEEPLY ABOUT GUEST EXPERIENCE AND THE MOMENTS THAT BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER.

Process

  • BLUE DOT

    Planning & Concept

Let’s dream about your best possible outcome. Let’s talk about your headaches and how to avoid. Think of this as the discovery phase, nothing off the table.

  • TAN DOT

    COLLABORATE & DEVELOP

Now that we have laid some groundwork, let’s get into the weeds. This is where we will develop the design and begin to see it taking shape.

  • BROWN DOT

    ADAPT & REFINE

As a design progresses, we want to leave room for flexibility. You are bound to have some new ideas you want to work in, and I want to make sure the process fits your flow.

  • RED DOT

    REALIZE & GATHER

From construction to opening day, this is where ideas become places and people become the fixture.
